My musical journey...

How does the voice of the Divine reach us? How does our creator get us to focus on the whispered voice in our ear? We easily dismiss the rustle of the tree leaves or the silence of a new fallen snow - but God is there.

Many of you know that I married a rock star - not a wanna be, but a real live rock star with awards and all. While we have many, many moments where we forget to listen to the whispers of one another we do share music... It is the venue in which Chris can most realistically make his voice heard and the one through which I most readily understand him. It is awe inspiring to witness him do what he does - to sit down at a piano and let the music flow through his fingers.
It is a language I do not speak - an understanding that only true musicians have. I use words so together Chris and I put them together to form music - the songs that make people listen. I hope you'll visit his website and download them - they're worth listening to.

While the songs are not overtly religious - or religious at all - they speak of the voice of God. I believe that God's story is an eternal story and is told and retold in every generation using every means possible. I hope that you hear the whisper of God in the music. I hope that the act of you listening to it will remind you....to listen for the voice of God.
